"To Reach North Florida and Beyond with the Gospel of Christ"

In April of 2009,  Pastor Scott and the staff of Abundant Life attended a Transformation Conference which was hosted by Pastor's spiritual father, Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin and Dr. Ed Silvoso.  Dr. Silvoso, founder and president of Harvest Evangelism and the International Transformation Network, is widely recognized as a strategist and solid Bible teacher who specializes in nation and marketplace transformation. He is the author of best-selling books That None Should Perish, Prayer Evangelism, Women: God’s Secret Weapon, Anointed for Business and his latest book, Transformation. While attending the conference, God placed a calling on Pastor Scott to see Transformation brought to Clay County, Florida.  On April 19, 2009 he brought this news to the congregation of Abundant Life in a sermon entitled, "I Have Been Transformed!" and announced to the people that "...TODAY, we are starting on a new journey as a church!"

In the following month, the people of Abundant Life began to go out into our community each night of the week other than Wednesdays and Sundays.  Beginning with the subdivision closest to our church, South Hampton, Pastor drove a stake into the ground at the entrance which proclaimed, "Jesus is Lord of South Hampton" and prayed that this neighborhood would be reclaimed for the Kingdom. Each night for the first week 50 - 90 members peacefully walked the streets of South Hampton, stopping in front of each home to raise their hands to God and ask that he bless the home and those who dwelled there with peace, grace, mercy, prosperity, safety and family unity.

The following week, the neighborhood of Northglen was prayed over in the same way. We met for an hour each night to walk through every street and pray over each house to ask for God's blessings on them.

The third week, the people of Abundant Life met each night at the Dr's Inlet Elementary School to walk the property and lay hands on doors, benches, equipment and playground areas to as for God's blessing on the school, teachers, administration and students. God's presence was felt so heavily as members evoked God's mercy and peace and many felt called to stay and pray beyond their one hour commitment.

The fourth week, the property that our church is located on was walked through and prayed for.  Pastor drove stakes on all four corners of the property declaring, "Jesus is Lord of BlueWay College Park".  Our people walked and asked for God to bless the business park tenants with prosperity and peace, to bring in more tenants to fill the buildings and for God's blessing on the owner of the property.  We prayed for our church to be a beacon to the community and a place of salvation to the Glory of God.

Today, Prayer Evangelism teams are being formed to continue to walk through the streets of Clay County, Youth Market Place Ministers were commisioned by Pastor to pray over their schools and intercessory prayer teams are in place to prayer over the needs of those who are asking for prayer through this website.  We praise God for the many who have responded on this site with prayer requests and are believing God to work miracles for His Glory.
