Pastor Scott places a high importance, as a church which represents the Lord Jesus Christ, to bless our community through both prayer evangelism and servitude. Our church has begun to invest both time and money into the community of Clay County to God's glory!
December 25th, 2009
In 2008, two families had a vision to extend God's love on Christmas day by providing home-cooked Christmas meals and drinks to those who were in need or living alone. This past Christmas Day, a group of approximately 45 members joined together to continue with that vision. To our joy, we were able to bless over 165 people with hot meals in 4 different neighborhoods of Clay County.

June 27th and July 4th: Members of Abundant Life came out for a work day at Doctors Inlet Elementary School. We cleaned out weeds and vines that were taking over the flower and shrubbery beds, mowed and edged the grass, and swept leaves from the parking lot.
Anne Miller, Principal of Doctors Inlet responded to the church through a Thank You card:
"What a wonderful sight it was to pull into Doctors Inlet after 10 days of vacation and see the hours of weeding and yard work your congregation did for us. God bless you and your church for being such a blessing to us!"
June 22nd and July 6th: Members responded to a call from Lake Asbury Elementary to help with yard maintenance as they experienced a shortage of custodial help due to illness.
Carole McCullough, Assistant Vice Principal of Lake Asbury Elementary responded to the church through a Thank You card:
"Thank you absolutely TONS for the men that you sent out to mow our campus. I feel your "community ministry" is such a relection of Jesus and how His ministry was when He walked among the people for 3 years! In my opinion Christianity is an action word... demonstrated beautifully by your church and the men that came our way."
August 21: It was our joy to partner with Doctor’s Inlet Elementary School and provide free backpacks filled with all the school supplies needed for this school year to children in need. It was a great church-wide effort as members came out on two separate nights to organize, fill, and pray over 192 backpacks! As we handed out the backpacks, we saw many mothers overwhelmed with gratitude and were rewarded with the smiles of children who were so pleased with their gift. Thank you to all who supported this effort with your finances and your labor. God is glorified as we reach out to those who need help!
Katherine Loader, Social Worker at Doctors Inlet responded to the church through a Thank You email:
"It was a privilege and a joy to work with the cheerful givers of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship today.
“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2nd Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)
On behalf of our less fortunate children who attend Doctors Inlet Elementary School, today
I am especially thankful for the cheerful givers of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship.”
